February 2010.  Orianthi “According to You.”

This song came on VH1 one day when I was on the elliptical at the gym.  I had forgotten to charge my ipod and was listening to the music videos that morning when this song came on.  I started actually listening to the lyrics and I came to a pause.  I could have written that.  During this time, I had just started dating someone new.  I hadn’t really dated anyone since 2008, since the “relationship” that tore my entire world apart.  I didn’t know this new person well at all at this point, but I knew that being with him made me happier than I could ever remember feeling with someone.
